Experience
Mr. Wasserstrum is a tax partner in charge of the firm’s Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice. He possesses over 30 years of public accounting experience and is currently devoted exclusively to assisting clients with all executive compensation, retirement plan and employee benefit issues. His practice includes plan document review for statutory compliance and appropriate design, including qualified plan self-audits, nonqualified deferred compensation plan issues; and stock option and separation pay plans. In addition, his experience includes extensive participation in merger and acquisition due diligence, and IRS examinations and DOL investigations. He has assisted clients with regulatory problems before both the IRS and DOL, and has significant experience as a consultant to for not-for-profit organizations, and handling health and welfare plan issues.
