Experience

Larry Cafasso possesses more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry as both a public accountant and a senior executive at health care organizations. 

As a CPA, he has provided auditing and consulting services, with a focus on integrated delivery systems, hospitals and nursing homes.  Mr. Cafasso was also charged with directing quality controls procedures.

Mr. Cafasso served as KPMG’s Partner in Charge of the Northeast Health Care Practice for 20 years. He most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Catskill Regional Medical Center.  As Assistant Vice President, Hospital Provider Reimbursement Department at Empire Blue Cross, Mr. Cafasso was responsible for the promulgation of reimbursement rates for hospitals under the Medicare and Blue Cross programs.
