What are RSS Feeds?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines, events and newsletters in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

Why Would Ordinary Web Users Like RSS?

For Web surfers, the advantages of RSS are quite simple: They save time and bandwidth. Instead of remembering to visit a favorite Web site, the news comes directly into your computer daily or at whatever interval you want.

What's more, most RSS feeds contain just small amounts of data such as headlines and links to the new content avoiding a lengthy download process.

What Do I Need to Receive RSS Feeds?

First, you need a feed reader. Performing a search for "RSS Feed Readers" in any major online search engine such as Google or Yahoo! will produce a bundle of software options — many of which are free or at little cost. Alternatively, you can use web based readers that are built into online accounts from My Yahoo! or Google.

Once you've obtained a feed reader, subscribing to an RSS feed is as simple as looking for the appropriate feed link. Most Web sites that publish an RSS feed will display a tiny orange box.

To view one of the WeiserMazars feeds in your RSS Aggregator:

1. Copy the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the topic that interests you.
2. Paste the URL into your reader.

My Yahoo! users:

1. Click on the "Add to My Yahoo!" button.
2. Follow the instructions for adding the feed to your My Yahoo! page.

Use of RSS Feeds

RSS is a free service offered by WeiserMazars for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by WeiserMazars, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by WeiserMazars. For web posting, reprint, transcript or licensing requests for WeiserMazars material, please contact the individuals listed in the Press Room.

The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full event or newsletter on the WeiserMazars.com web site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable WeiserMazars Site web page or online content. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable WeiserMazars web page or online content.

Ownership/Attribution

WeiserMazars retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all WeiserMazars logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate WeiserMazars website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate WeiserMazars website's logo that we have incorporated into the RSS feed.

Right to Discontinue Feeds

WeiserMazars reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. WeiserMazars assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
